Hello there, lately, since like 1 month ago my LG G is doing a blurred line shaped pattern on the screen and when that happens I have to turn of the screen and turn it back on and it automatically gets fixed, sounds like a rendering issue, how do I solve it? My device is YU YU4711 , rooted, then I flashed TWRP via fastboot, then using TWRP I backed up the stock ROM , and then flashed RR ROM (7.1.2), it was working fine , but then I thought of flashing RR ROM (6.0) , In the process to do so I couldn't erase the system to flash new ROM (failed to mount system) , so I was on TWRP and I accidentally changed my partition format and since then I have no ROM installed , no internal storage partition , I have TWRP and it shows internal storage (0 mb), I have checked other threads too but found no solution . please please help me . Hey, I have a note 4 from a company I no longer work for. It was in my drawer for almost a year. I played around with it and tried to wipe it but it wouldn't wipe because of Air Watch. I guess I made it worse when I disabled something I shouldn't which I think was the account for it. Now it stays stuck on the screen of Air Watch and do not know how to remove the company guarded info and just put the normal nougat or older os on there. Any help?

Hi, I have a Pixel XL on Verizon running the latest stock firmware (v7.1.2). I have a problem with my notifications taking hours or sometimes over a day to show. This includes apps like Gmail, Outlook, Instagram, Slack, and even things like Dominos. The issue is present regardless of my connection, whether I am on Wifi or LTE makes no difference. I've read other posts and disabled the battery saving options for these apps, but the problem is still there. Is there something I can reset or clear a cache, or anything to fix the notification system?

When I go to play back the last couple of songs I've purchased from the Play Store it says I can't do it without a Wi-Fi connection. If I can purchase the song from the Play Store without a Wi-Fi connection, why can't I listen to it without a connection? I don't recall this being the case before. I've frequently listened to my playlists without a connection. What, if anything, can I do about it? If nothing, how do I get my money back? well,this is crazy situation...so I was at my family's summer house 60 miles away from my ex's home and I went to find a bank cause I had no cash, I use location to find any atm nearby and it appears my location is my ex gf home 60 miles away with map fully loaded with traffic details also, so I update clear cache memory the same after 1 hour or 2, so everytime I try to find my location i was at her house and then my summer house, so I changed password, still the same for some time but in morning i restarted my phone It loaded her house as a previous location, and then this 2 location thing stopped, she has not read my mail since activity showed nothing...she has rooted phone, mine's not she is a an IT student and she studies about android development.anyway if anyone knows something pls help. she happens also to have my mail,Am I hacked? this situation has ever happened to anyone jumping between two locations? *LAST TIME I WAS THERE MOOONTHS AGO

A couple of months ago I had to get my phone replaced with a refurbished one. Since then, I have noticed that my replacement phone behaves differently with regard to the display while charging, and I can't figure out how to change the settings to make it like my old phone. With my old phone, when I plugged it in to charge, the screen would turn on for a few seconds then turn off. Likewise, after becoming fully charged or after receiving a notification, the screen would light up for a few seconds and then go dark again. With my replacement phone, however, when I plug it in, the screen turns on and stays on , unless I press the power button to turn the screen off. And then, if I receive a notification or the phone becomes fully charged, the screen will turn on and stay on until I manually turn it off or unplug the phone. This bothers me because I imagine the screen must be on for most of the night, and I wonder if this could possibly burn an image onto the screen or cause other i

Hello! My Samsung Galaxy Express GT-i8730 stopped working without any prior signs. When I try turning it on, it won't give any reaction, no recovery, no normal boot, no anything. Isn't Fast Charging Bad For The Battery?

I've had my Pixel XL for over a week and still getting acquainted with it, coming from a Motorola Droid Turbo. I had to order the phone through Verizon as the stores in my area couldn't tell me when they would have it. The delivery date was going to be a month wait time, but it was shipped in 2 weeks. This gave me time to order extra cables and case. I got a screen protector from Verizon this past weekend. And I forget who told me on here to not get one from Verizon as it doesn't cover the screen from edge to edge. He was right, knew he would be but it's better than no protection at all. How many of you that have the Pixel put it in a case and or a screen protector. I've had some people tell me you spent that much on a phone why are you covering it up! That's why I've got a case for it because of the cost. I got a caseology case, not bulky, adds a little color to the basic black that I got.

Hello. I have a very annoying notification sound of a double car honk that only once and a while fires. I have so many apps on my phone that to deinstall them in groups, then wait forever to find if the problem is fixed is just not practical. So my question is, is there a background app that can monitor system events on Android phones, and trap a desired event, like a sound file being activated? I guess it might be the equivalent to SoftIce for Windows platforms.

Hey everyone... new to the boards here... I have a Note 4 that has some texts on I would like to keep, (my Dad who is now passed). I just got an S6 and I cannot transfer my text. Kies, used to be great but outdated. Smart Switch fails me every time and Cloud has no way to restore the texts that I can find. I own a rooted htc 10. My dumbass self thought selecting dalvik cache cache & system was the correct way to wipe cache partition in twrp. I was so incorrect. I shouldn't have selected system now my HTC 10 is stuck in boot loop & I wonder if all my personal data on internal storage is gone? hi there ive had my s8 since release, sometimes i get the rear camera where it focuses on somethng close so when taking a picture further away (just a normal picture ) its blurry. ive managed to set it by focusing on somethign clsoe then moving away slow and ten it pops back however its been two days, ive tried flipping between front and back camera, HDR on or off, flash on or off, and ive done a soft reset and that hasnt fixed it. anything else i can try?

Sometimes my S8 will go to airplane mode during a phone call. I have noticed that when on the call the screen is still active. If my ear touches the screen it can activate another app. Isn't the screen supposed to be frozen til you hang up the call to prevent that from happening? I see that airplane mode in settings is near the top of the screen right about where my ear would touch it. Is there somewhere in settings where you can disable the screen from touch til you end the call?

Hello all, my phone is Alcatel ideal 4G LTE (4060a). unknowingly I have deleted some system apps those came with stock ROM. importantly download manager is deleted, now I am unable to download anything (but can browse). so I have two options now, either reflash with stock ROM (which is not available to me) or get the system apps from the other phone (Alcatel ideal 4G LATE). can anyone please help me with this. Phone's CPU has been frequently heating to 60C or more, sometimes even reaching 75C and its battery has died when its total usage indicated that the battery should still be around 70%. And no, the battery isn't the problem, I even changed batteries with my brother's, kept getting the same issue while he reported none. Using custom ROM, but the battery problem was present in stock ROM too (Spent a few days in stock last week). Been taking around 10 seconds to open apps. Phone's a LG L90 running latest AICP, was bought around December 20th, 2014.

hey there yesterday I rooted my htc desire 820g plus dual sim and installed nethunter in it but as my phone did not support monitor mode so I just uninstalled the nethunter and qll it's apps but I think it did not remove the downloaded 4GB data with it so I thought maybe I should hard reset it so my phone would also refresh.but as I went into recovery mode by pressing the power and volume down keys then pressing the volume up key and the power key again (that's how I always goto recovery mode in this phone) then I came down and selected the wipe/data reset and again pressed volume up key (for selection) my phone at first kind went blank then I pressed the power button and it showed the android guy settings logo with a yellow line in the bottom "wiping data" I left it like that for about 10 minutes but as it wont go forward I pressed the power button for about 15 secs and my phone got restart and went to that very same android guy logo with the settings pentagon but

My experience is that it is randomly generated new MAC after each connection. I tryed many apps, terminal, googling... I do not think it will go without the boot scripts modification. Hi all, I've recently redownloaded Plague Inc from the play store after uninstalling it on a previous occasion to make room on my device, a Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ and on the previous occasion of having this game it worked fine and had no quarrels with it. Now when I play it on intervals of about ten minutes the app will force open my chrome browser and directs to me to Sainsbury's reward page with a button asking me to click and claim a cash prize. I've come across popups like this when browsing certain sites and I've always cleared my cache, search history etc straight after and have been very careful not to select the button on the page. I use lookout as my anti-virus and that doesn't seem to pick up anything malicious downloaded, yet popups like this have become more and more frequent. About a pop up a week. I have an LG K8 that has 8GB of storage. 4.56GB is "system data". Because of many problems with limited storage space, i bought a 32GB (the largest my phone can take) SD card and moved my only app (Instagram, because i had to delete the other) across. All my photos are either on Google Photos or my SD card. I have no downloads, bookmarks, emails, cache, or anything. I have cleared it all. I tried dialing *#9900# but it gave me an error message saying "connection problem or invalid MMI code." everything I try seems to be pointless. I have no idea what data is taking up this much space as I have next to nothing on my phone any more. Can anyone help? How do I get rid of this "system data"?

I've just got the phone & am having an issue with it's internal files not appearing on my PC (Windows 10) under Devices and drives Moto G 5. If I change the Select USB configuration option from MTP to charging & back to MTP it works, but only whilst the phone is connected, each time I connect the phone I have to go through the process again. How to backup everything of an Android device in case it's lost or stolen? Yes I mean everything I work with the device, I want an instantaneous or regular auto backup, without having a need of using USB cable to connect to a PC to make it done. ....consider upgrading to the newer Galaxy S8+? On one hand, they both run the same OS, but the S8 has a different & faster processor. Any comments, as I'm thinking about it?

I'm in a real bind, and I'm a little stuck on which phone I should buy next. Where I am right now is a note 3. The GPS has given up so I'm needing something for work soon. I want my next phone to be as close to stock as possible, or easy to theme as possible with minimum bloat. I also need to be able to root. I liked the idea of the one plus 5, but returned it to the shop due to the jelly screen issue. Plus the camera was terrible and the screen input latency was very bad. I've looked at the Samsung s8s and I don't like the position of the fingerprint reader and the susceptability to screen breaks concerns me. I love the pixel, but it is too expensive per gig. I liked the G3 too, but it is expensive for what it is here (older Snapdragon) in the UK and the Asian version cannot be rooted. Kicker as I would have bought that version in a heartbeat. HTC U11 is nice, but lack of headphone jack is an instant no. So where does that leave me. Can anyone suggest a

Hi friends...I have new phone but  I am just using reboot or switch off then on when Bluetooth automatically on...plz help me....I am shocked and confuse.

Does anyone have an easy way to root the stylo? King root doesn't work and there are no youtube videos to help root it. I tried following the rooting guide on android forums but the instructions are too complicated as the root guide was made by a Linux user. Can anyone please post something for Windows users that's easier? Thanks in advance.

For a while now each time I received a text message there was no sound. All my settings where switched on correctly or allowed. Today I reset all app notifications but it still didn't work,then upon receiving a text a notification cleaner automatically shut down the message and asked if I wanted to clean. Immediately I deactivated the notification cleaner and now my text message works again. I hope this helps

Is there an apk of any of the older Android launchers? Like cupcake or froyo? Weird as it sounds I just love the feel of older Androids. I still use my Xperia Play from time to time.

So i noticed that alot of my pics that were on my sd card are now not showing up in my gallery. So i tried taking sd csrd and re-inserting to see if that would work and nothing...any suggestions...

Recently upgraded from Galaxy S7 to the S8. On my previous phones (S5 and S7) I was able to set up text to speech and have the ability to hear and dictate text messages to my various bluetooth devices. I could use either a Samsung app or Google Voice. Even though I have enabled Text-to-Speech (under Language and Input), neither of the options: "Samsung text-to-speech" nor "Google Text-to-speech" works. My bluetooth devices have not changed. I use a Plantronics Voyager and a motorcycle bluetooth device, Sena SMH10. Samsung tech support nor Verizon tech support has been any help at all. The only thing Verizon told me was it might be because Bixby is not fully functional. I can't imagine that Samsung took a step backwards on capabilities, so there must be a solution. Please help!
