I tried to flash stock ROM on s7 using Prince Comsy odin3 and when I flash the ap file, it sends phone into boot loop. I had auto reboot and f reset time ticked in options. I used adb automator to change the original files so they can be seen by odin.

Hey there, so i rooted my S7  which worked perfectly (i thought) but since then i cant turn on my Bluetooth anymore. Ive tried  factory reset, wipe cache, reset network  almost everything i could think of. i have the feelin that while rooting i must have lost a Bluetooth File which may be needed... does anyone have an idea on how to get it working again?

I have galaxy s7 sm930a at&t model and I want to flash it with stock firmware but the only ones I find are for sm930f model, could I damage my phone by this or is it too small of a difference?

Does anyone have recommendations on the best method/software? I've always had iPhones so backing up an Android device is new territory.

UNLOCKED ATT S8 PLUS. running to best buy in my wheelchair wont cut it to flash. HOW TO KNOW IF SAMSUNG OTA OR CARRIER. i tried dumb switch even when an update is out and still is dumb like biby and never says update out.

Maybe it's just my phone. But in the past 2 weeks, my s8 shut off unexpectedly. Only only way to get it back on is if I hold the down volume and power button Has anyone else had this problem? Is it malware that i download that's causing this?

I deleted a bunch of old contacts and now every few mins I get a notification from 'Android Systems' saying I deleted too many and what should it do. Every time I've clicked on 'Delete Contacts' but the msg is still popping back after another few mins. Really frustrating

I've wondered this for a while. I have auto update turned on for my apps. And although many apps do update automatically, I often get a notification that I have updates available. When I select it, it takes me to Google Play, where I have to select "Update All" to get the updates to start. I thought it only did that when an update needed additional permissions. But it doesn't ask me for any more permissions after I select to update. Any ideas? Thanks. Eric S.

I recently added mobile hot spot to my plan and have been without internet for awhile,so my sharp roku tv hasn't updated in a while. I had been using screen mirror with no problems until now. when I turn on screen mirroring it will randomly disconnect requiring me to reconnect every time it shuts off . some times it's a couple minutes then sometimes it could play for a while without interruption . I've made sure battery saver was disabled and all that but I cannot figure out why I keep getting disconnected . idk if it has something to do with the tv being updated now that I had it connected to the internet or if the hit spot had somethi g to do with this. any help would be greatly appreciated.

3 days ago my Galaxy S7 started launching and displaying a "double tap to unlock" screen when I start a phone call. I hadn't intentionally made any settings changes. I found one suggestion that this is caused by a setting of the proximity feature and there are instructions how to go into the phone app settings menu and then turn on or off the proximity feature. (this feature prevents your face from pressing "buttons" while on a phone call) my settings menu doesn't show any option for setting proximity function carrier - Verizon OS nougat 7.0 I can't find any settings feature to turn this option off

Hello, Just wondering if anyone knows why I'd get two OS Updates within about two weeks of each other in July? The first one I received was G903PVPU4BQF3 - version 7, which I believe is the latest. The one that is prompting me to install is marked both: G930PVPS4BQG1 G930PSPT4BQG1 My carrier is Sprint. It just seems odd to me to get two OS Updates so close to each other and I'm a little concerned about taking this new update. Anyone else have the same experience? I cannot find a list of updates and what each one does on the web. Thanks! Christy

Hey guys. Ok so I deleted some of my photos by mistake so i tried to recover them so I use "DR.Fone" programm , after that I see some annoyin message on notification screen "Unauthorized actions detected. Please reactivate your device to undo any unauthorized changes made" and doesnt matter what I try to do it wont go ( I tried : restart phone, hard reset, wipe cache ,reset factory settings) nothing helped, after that I also noticed that when I tried to update my phone by OTA updates it also gives me an error "An unauthorized change was made to your device's operating system. Try downloading software support by smart transfer on your computer or visiting a customer service center" I really want to fix it and I have no idea how , my phone is only 1 month old, Big thanks for helpers!

I got this S7 about a month ago. I turned off the "Available Wifi Notifications" setting, but the notifications persist. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hello — I bought my wife a Samsung Galaxy S7 about a year ago. She took it to London, England, on a holiday, and with it, took a photo of Trafalgar Square, from the edge of the Square and looking right across it to Nelson's Column. In the far distance was a clock-tower. The whole tower was hardly visible, so far off was it (perhaps the distance would be about a mile, but I don't know for certain. However, it certainly must have been several hundred yards). Yet, when she showed me the shot, she was able to zoom in on it enough to see, not only the distant clock-tower, but also the clock-face, and could easily read the time that was showing on it. (She always uses HD setting for her pictures.) Today, she wanted to take a photo of some goldfinches, feeding at the bottom of our small garden, which would have been only about 23 feet away from where she stood. Yet, though she magnified the shot as much as she could, afterwards, the birds showed up "woolly" on the photo, w...

This is driving me a little bit nuts. My new S7 is configured in a way that some emails just won't display. This seems to be confined to the Sent Items and Drafts folders. I use Office 365 for cloud-based email. Example screen attached. The point is that when I search my Sent Items for 'John' I can see there are 4 results, but none of then show up. If I didn't search but just scrolled through, they wouldn't be visible either. But search proves the phone knows they are there! Any help gratefully received.

Im not happy having a 10 minute limit on my videos. The Timer is set to off as indicated in the below screenshot but yet the timer/limit is still displayed. Can this limit be removed or disabled? Warning: Large Image. Spoiler If not may someone suggest me a new Camera/Video recorder App that does videos without the time limit? I also tried the 1080p setting and I still get the same time limit

I bought a Samsung S8 Plus after trading in my Blackberry Priv. My Outlook calendar was syncing just fine on my BB, but I can't get it to sync on the S8. I use Office 365. Email is working just fine, but not the calendar. Can someone please help me?

I wanted to play Pandora on our BMW X3 via Bluetooth. Could not connected myself. Took it to the BMW dealer. After trying to do it himself, the BMW tech guru told me that I can play Pandora only if I connect my S8 via AUX cable to the car. Since we have cancelled the OnStar service, we can't play via Bluetooth. Is this true? I have not used the Bluetooth calling yet. Hope my phone works in the car now. Any comments, advice, similar experience by any one of you? Thank you.
