With the last Snapchat update I got, I thought you could start taking 60 second snaps if you continuously hold the capture button. My V20 does not it stops after 10 seconds anyone else having that problem ? Is there something in settings I need to change ? Any help ?

So this morning, I was on PhoneArena and they had an article about the LG V20 getting a software update. Its for the Verizon LG V20, its 15A and it includes July security patch. Have anyone got the update yet? What's your experience with the 15A update?

Can someone help? I have the lg v20 when I download files it automatically saves to quick memo, the files don't save to Downloads. I've tried several times to open a document and it won't fully open in quick memo. My v5 automatically saved all downloads to the download folder, the saving to the quick memo is new to me.

Ok, I usually backup all my photos from my LG V20 on my computer. I have them in files, some on SD card some on phone. I know where to find the files. I connect phone to computer via USB and my computer recognizes phone. All is good. I go to phone storage, pictures and find all my folders. I open a particular folder that has 800+ photos recently taken and/or added to this folder (which can be seen on my phone) however when I open file on computer it shows the folder is empty. Only 2 folders do this all the other folders both on phone and SD card show all photos. Why cant I see the photos in these 2 folders? No special permissions are enabled and they aren't encrypted or anything. Help.

My uncle bought a LG V20 A COUPLE MONTHS BACK! SOON AFTER,HE BECAME HAD A STORKE AN PASSED AWAY.. WE HAD A LOT OF MEMORIES CAPTURED ON THE LG V20! WITH OUT MY KNOWLEDGE MY SON WAS FOOLING AROUND WITH IT AN NOW I'M STUCK AT GOOGLE SIGN IN HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO I'VE TRIS EVERYONE OF HIS NICK NAMES I COULD THINK OF! IF ANYONE OUT THERE CAN HELP IT WOULD B GREATLY APPRECIATED THANK YOU

Okay so basically out of nowhere the pornhub apk was downloaded into my phone. I can see it in file manager however I have not installed the app unto my phone. The problem is number one: I DO NOT want this app. Number two: The app is opening NSFW ads in EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY APPS  Number three: I CAN NOT get rid of this app. I tried deleting this app from file manager and it just keeps on coming back. I checked to see if the app had any administrative permissions that were preventing me from deleting it but there were none. Is there any way I can fix this problem with out a factory reset? I have an LG V20

At one time I did somethingbthat let me write on my home screen. Not sure what i did so i cant redo it. Does anyone have an idea on how to get to this feature on the Lg v20. Thanks

So I bought a Google 18w Type-C charger to charge my LG V20 and any other Type-C devices I may have in the future and I noticed when I plugged it in to my battery cradle it didnt charge, like the light didn't even come on. I'm guessing the charger didnt put out the right voltage or current for the battery cradle or is it the cable itself? I'm guessing charger, because why would you make a type-c input battery cradle if it couldnt charge from a type-c output charger? The power ratings on the battery cradle limit the speed of the charging so I guess it wouldnt even utilize type-c speeds. I just want it for convenience, to have one charger and cable for all uses and devices but I guess I can't. Is there aftermarket battery cradles that utilize type-c speeds, specifically from Google's type-c power adapters?

Is there a way to regain the quick cover function in verizon v20. Will it require rooting to get it back? Thanks

After a couple of hours of googling and downloading 5 other keyboards I am posting here. Hoping someone here has information.

I'm running an unrooted Verizon LG V20, with Android 7.0 (security patch 4/1/17), SwiftKey version 6.6.0.22. I prefer SwiftKey to other keyboard apps I've tried; however, of late I've encountered an extremely frustrating issue in which my backspace key functions randomly as a back arrow: it simply scrolls back through text without deleting it. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't; and sometimes it likes to switch things up mid-word as I am making corrections. I hate, hate, hate this. This glitch occurs in Chrome, Gmail, and my basic texting app--basically anywhere I can type. I have found no exception so far. Does anyone know how to fix this crap? It makes me want to throw a $600 phone!

I don't mean "driving mode". I mean "car mode" that you talk to and get navigation, start music, send messages, and make phone calls. While it had it's issues, I couldn't find another app to match it. BTW, Google Android Auto won't work as my Honda does not have Bluetooth.

Settings>Device>Battery>Battery Usage>Battery Use Details>Battery Usage Data Not Available. Just for your information. I installed a 3rd party Battery App. Can't remember which one. But after the install I could no longer use Battery Data Usage. Uninstalled 2 battery apps - removed the battery overnight - rebooted and all of a sudden I am able to see which apps are using my battery. I was ready to do a factory reset which would have been not much fun. All is working now. Just thought I'd throw this at you all for your information.

Installed Android Auto on my Vette and notice that the phone gets noticeably warm. You have to have the phone plugged into the car's USB port for Android Auto to function. Just wonder if anyone 's else is experiencing this?

I want to try to restore the software on my Verizon LG V20. How do I do that? I'm not rooted. My LG V20 is stock.

EVERY SINGLE DAY my phone stops connecting to Google. Translation: Voice-to-text stops working, Google Assistant stops working, Google Search bar widget stops working. Sometimes it will randomly start working again, otherwise I'll restart the phone, the Google services will work again, only to stop working after a little while. The internet reveals nothing regarding this problem. Anyone know what the heck is going on?

Can anyone recommend an app to mute selected text conversations based on time of day? I don't want to turn off all text conversations, just a few that are with people on the other side of the world who text me in the middle of the night. I just want to mute those conversations from midnight to 6 am. I need to let local conversations continue with full notifications so I can get text notifications from my kids if they have a problem. The stock LG V20 app can't do this. Do some messaging apps do this? Or do I need to look for a specialized app? TIA
