spyware info

I am looking for spyware to install on my kids phones. couple of questions for anyone.

1. Why are almost all of them subscription based?

2. If they are subscription based because they use the developers server; don't they have complete access to my info?

3. If Q2 is correct, are there any that don't use an outside server?

4. Any recommendations? The only one-time purchase I could find is highster mobile.

[Q] Expect to be able to root the Tab 4 ?

I'm getting itchy for a new tablet. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 looks uninteresting, especially for the price. Plus, Samsung is getting more difficult to root. The forthcoming Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus is interesting, especially for the price. Although I'd have to wait until May. The real question, is it likely that I'll be able to root the Tab 4? I'm not looking for a guarantee, just an opinion. I've never had a Lenovo android device, so I don't know how they tend to treat this question.

Samsung Galaxy A7 - AF00FD -showing signal with no sim

Hi All, I just flashed a new rom to Galaxy A7 model A700FD because of bootloop issue after uninstalling SuperSU, the previous android version was still kitkat 4.4, and updated it to 5.0.2 lollipop version now. I haven't tested yet if everything is working, but it makes me wonder why it is showing carrier signal even though there is no SIM attached to it. Is this normal? or do I need to flash/modify anything? I did factory reset and wipe partition after flashing the new ROM. This is Galaxy A7 2016 version.
