Battery Issues

My phone will not power on unless it is being charged. If it is disconnected from charging, even if the battery is 100% fully charged, the phone will immediately go off and starts trying to come on, albeit unsuccessfully.

Samsung Galaxy A7 - AF00FD -showing signal with no sim

Hi All, I just flashed a new rom to Galaxy A7 model A700FD because of bootloop issue after uninstalling SuperSU, the previous android version was still kitkat 4.4, and updated it to 5.0.2 lollipop version now. I haven't tested yet if everything is working, but it makes me wonder why it is showing carrier signal even though there is no SIM attached to it. Is this normal? or do I need to flash/modify anything? I did factory reset and wipe partition after flashing the new ROM. This is Galaxy A7 2016 version.
